About MiseTings
MiseTings is the humor site for Magic: the Gathering enthusiasts. We are known for taking the serious issues affecting the Magic community and dropping them into giant vats of satire that we keep around for just such occasions. We are also "allegedly" the ones who killed the horse, but that doesn't stop us from beating the ever-loving crap out of it.
MiseTings is one of the largest Magic: the Gathering communities on the web. As featured in Inquest magazine and on the Wizard's of the Coast website, we provide thousands of readers with Magic news, satire, forums, and our famous card image gallery.
FAQWho is behind this madness?
MiseTings is owned and operated by Mike Bregoli, former professional Magic:
the Gathering player.
Who writes all these wonderful
articles?
The content on MiseTings is written by various members of
the MiseTings community. Anyone can submit
an article, and we even accept anonymous submissions.
How could you print that article?
It is totally fake!
MiseTings is a humor site, not everything that appears here
will be entirely factual. That said, please feel free to
point out mistakes and misconstrued information in the MiseTings
Forums.
What does "MiseTings" mean, anyway?
MiseTings is a combination of two Magic slang phrases: "mise"
and "tings". In friendly mockery of the Magic lingo, I (and
others) have been known to say phrases like "Mise, tings,
gas, etc." from time to time to describe some incredible
Magic phenonema. www.MiseTingsGasEtc.com seemed a little
long, so I chose MiseTings instead. If you are not familiar
with the word "mise", perhaps you should Learn
the Lingo. To sum it up, "mise" can be defined as:
verb - "to obtain something that is unusually great or unexpected"
noun - "something unusually great or unexpected"
"Tings" is short for "beatings" . . . so I guess if you
put Mise and Tings together, you get some unusually great
or unexpected beatings.
You didn't print my article, WTF?
Hey, relax! Before you get all uppity, please read the following:

print, timely articles get priority.
3) Anonymous submissions have a slightly lesser chance of
being published.
4) "Inside" jokes that most people won't "get" will probably
