Blue Beast known as “Broodstar” casts shadow of doubt, confusion over FNM players
[AP] WA – Friday, May 21, 2004 gave Bellingham’s Friday Night Magic players a rare glimpse of the specimen N00bsus Overratus, more commonly known as a Broodstar. Not seen since late February, this specimen appeared in Round Three of the Swiss portion of the biweekly Standard tournament.

TULSA (AP) - In papers filed yesterday, Bucky Goldstein of Oilton, Oklahoma now officially owns the acronym S.T.F.U. Starting on midnight next Monday anyone using that term in print, on the internet, or verbally will have to pay Goldstein a fee or face time in jail.

Fifth Dawn to Feature Animated "Super-Premium" Cards
Renton, WA -- Wizards of the Coast, Inc., a subsidiary of Hasbro, Inc. (NYSE: HAS) announced today that their upcoming Magic: The Gathering(R) expansion set, "Fifth DawnTM," will be the first to showcase the latest development in trading card technology: the animated premium card. The animated effect is accomplished using recently developed electronic ink devices, called bio-luminescent incandescing nitro-globules (BLING).
