Magic the Gathering Pro Tour Hall of Fame
Never one to shy away from controversy, Mark Rosewater raised some eyebrows and some heckles today when he announced his votes for inductees into the Magic hall of fame. Along with his expected votes of Zack Dolan, Tom Wylie, and himself, Rosewater came through with a shocker. "And now we get to the vote most likely to spurn angry letters. Yes, I'm voting for Judge Hathorne of the Salem Witch trials."

I am very excited today to be presenting something that has never been done before here on magicthegathering.com. Most of the time, card previews from new sets come out about two weeks before the set is released with certain cards that reflect aspects of the new set being revealed by members of the Wizards staff. For the first time, I am presenting several cards several months before a set comes out. And I'm showing you the complete card logs.

Magic Invitational Alternate Art Promo Cards A Flop

LOS ANGELES, CA (MT) - Sadly for Magic: the Gathering Invitational players, not all foil Jittes are created equal. This weekend, at the end of the Magic: The Gathering Invitational, each player received a sealed prize packet containing premium alternate-art versions of popular Standard-legal rares. Unfortunately, somehow they were not received well at all, leaving most players complaining that they were unplayable.
