The 10-year-old Tenorman has repeatedly sent his own card ideas to various branches of Wizards and the DCI throughout the contest, despite specific instructions to the contrary. "I want to vote for my SquirrelMaster Dragonbeast. It's one of the biggest fatties ever, and it makes a 7/7 token every turn. It's going to be so cool!"

Despite the overwhelming response to the contest, reaction from Wizards of the Coast has been mixed.
