McKeown Challenges Tait for Volume Title

By: slanter - July 01, 2002

Former undisputed champion of internet writing (in terms of sheer volume) Sean McKeown has recently been dethroned by Star City columnist and backyard wrestler Georgie Tait. McKeown is best known for authoring weekly columns for both Brainburst and Neutral Ground Online where he offers passable decks and metagame analysis despite constant derision from more succesful players who don't offer shit. Tait leaped ahead by offering "The Daily Shot" and is best known for pointing out phallic symbols in old Magic sets and bombing out of Canadian Nationals.

McKeown has vowed to regain his volume throne by upping his workload to twice weekly columns on both NGO and Brainburst, whilst resuming his defunct "Oaf of Mages" column on Star City at the same pace, giving him a 6-5 edge. Tait promised to counter by beginning a card-by-card review of the entire game, starting with Alpha. McKeown responded with a folding chair over the head.

Fearing that the tension would continue to escalate until McKeown attempted to single-handedly revive the Dojo after Tait brought back Meridian Magic, editors Scott Johns and The Ferrett have agreed to sponsor a Steel Cage Death Match between the two. They will be locked in steel cages and forced to churn out columns until one of them dies.
