This is a tradition I'm bringing over from another board I frequent. This is just a post for anything happening in your life you wanna share, and talk about, and stuff like that.

Well fuck me, today I have at least 1 exam, and 5 total finals this week, + I'm gonna see x men 2, and the day after that I'm going to regionals. That's alot of shit packed into 1 week.

Soo...what's up with you boys? My best friend recently called me on the casual racial slurs I was using...I think she's right...look at this away message I have on aim...

Even though I'm joking about it, she said it does bother her. She's gay, and she told me that whenever she hears somebody call somebody else a dyke, even in a joking fashion, it really stings. So she can understand how my joking slurs probably bother other people.

I'm guessing the reason it doesn't bother me is because I, being a 20 year old white boy that grew up in the USA, am not associated with any common slurs or anything, and even if I am, they don't really bother me. I imagine if they did, I wouldn't be jokingly using other slurs, since I could put myself in their shoes, and realize how much it hurts.

I'm still working on my 10 page paper on the Manchurian Incident of 1931. After this, I have to show up for my next to last English class...to watch Dangerous Liaisons. Then its off to practice a charades skit with a girl in the class. Our teacher is lazy so the final is literary charades. We have to pick something we discussed in the course and act it out with a somewhat modern twist. We're doing Porphyria's Lover (http://www.bartleby.com/101/720.html). Basically, we have this all romantic scene...then I kill her.

I hope I don't get carried away...Lucky Donut would then kill me. :(

I haven't even been working out hard lately. I have been so exhausted from work that I haven't been keeping up with the running and I'm still in shape. I definitely think that the vegetarian thing helps though.
