Oh come on... how does this ruin the language? There's plenty of far dumber words in it, are they okay just because they evolved hundereds of years ago. The OED guys are only record-keepers, they don't make stuff up, or give words 'status'.

It's the usage of the word boys, the usage.

Low fuel economy (10 posts per gallon of jelly)... poor acceleration (random to senior member in a month)... even the handling is worse! We can only wait for the next year's model, and hope...
