If you played at Regionals, please STFU. Go brag someplace else.

If you were prevented from attendance, here is where you can cry in your beer, rant, complain--whatever you need to do in order to get over the fact that YOU COULDN'T PLAY.

I've actually found time to play recently too! I wouldn't have qualified, but I wouldn't have thrown up on myself either.

Hi everyone, my name is Bob, and I couldn't go to regionals because I have tickets to Jazz Fest today, and I want to see the Neville brothers. Actually, my mom wants to see them, so I am taking her. I would rather have seen Cowboy Mouth. :( (http://www.wwoz.org/fest/2003_day8.html) I might go check out Pete Fountain, too, at least for the first half of his show. Hell of a clarinet player he is.

Also, 9 hr. drives to either regional competition is not svg tech. Ever.

Hi, I my name is Nephilim, and I didn't go to regionals because I haven't been able to afford to play Magic since Onslaught because I have barely enough money for my apartment college tuition.

I am glad the spoiler for Legions and what I have seen of Scourge hasn't made me miss the game much. I found a better hobby (music) than Magic while being too poor to play it. It can pick up chicks and I don't get the 0-2 drop trembles when I screw up while playing guitar.

My my name is [insert name here] I didn't go because I'm broke, had no way to get to Toronto, and lack anything near a full slate of type two (Every pack of onslaught I open contains ASS!!! I'm sick of enchantress' presences!).
That and I tend to do little things like forgetting to untap when I play in tourneys (except in Drafts... I do okay in drafts for some reason... I like drafts).

Oh and Badguy? There's only one Brunswick: New Brunswick. There's no Santa Clause either. Shame on you Zug for bringing false hopes to Baguy!

Anyway, my name is of no concern and I didn't go to English regionals because I planned to grind straight into nationals at Gencon the day before. This backfired, so instead I got superbly lucky and won a PTQ instead :)

See!! Saying "shine ya shoes, guv?" is just so much more fun, not to mention several times easier to approximate. Our North American drawl makes more 'literary' english rather hard to maintain and catch the nuances of. Cockney expressions give you convenient, short, and well known hooks, which when you're just making a dumb joke anyway are all that is required.
