Sean McKeown Mistaken for Pro

By: voiceotruth - December 05, 2001

New York, NY -- After going 0-3-drop at a recent qualifier for Pro Tour San Diego, Randy McStick complained, "My deck was really good, but I just got rolled by three pros in a row!"

Turning to his friends, McStick explained, "I had a good deck, but the pairings were just brutal. First Tony Tsai double flame bursted me out, then Paul Jordan overran me, then I got manascrewed against Sean McKeown."

That last name finally drew the attention of McStick's friends who had been politely nodding up to that point. A few snickered while McStick's roommate pointed out that, despite McKeown's voluminous writings, Mr. Neutral Eye is still eligible for the Amateur Prize.

"Damn," said McStick, "I don't know if that makes me feel better or worse."

No explanation has been given as to why either player was still playing in the 0-2 bracket.
