Magic Player Confused by AmericanSingles.com

Laurel, MD -- Area Magic player Steve Williams was reportedly confused Thursday when he clicked on the banner ad for AmericanSingles.com. This banner ad, which features a half-naked couple kissing in a river, is for a dating-service.

"So there I was, reading about Labarre's suspension, when I noticed it [the ad]. I thought to myself 'Hey, I could use some singles for my Stompy deck', so I clicked on it and was like 'Dude, WTF? Dating? What's that?'"

Kelly LaBelle, the Public Relations spokesperson for AmericanSingles.com had this to say at a press conference this morning:

"AmericanSingles.com deeply regrets any confusion caused by our advertisement. We felt that the pictures of lovers kissing, as well as the pulsating words 'Dating' and 'Love', might have provided some hint as to what our service provided. Clearly, we underestimated just how out of touch our target audience is from any actual meaningful human relationship."

Added Ms. LaBelle, "Dumbass."
