Wakefield Spotted in Convenience Store

By: Anonymous - December 12, 2001

An area man reported last week that he had spotted former Magic Legend Jamie Wakefield buying Twinkies in a neighborhood convenience store. Known affectionately as 'The King of the Fatties,' the community has been lamenting the loss of Wakefield to Asheron's Call for years.

"Yeah, it was The King I saw, no doubt in my mind" said Fred Little, an auto mechanic from Vermont. Little explained that the mysterious man " bought 26 Twinkies and 36 Ho-Hos. What other proof do you need?" citing Wakefield's unorthodox land ratio. MiseTings contacted the clerk of the store in question to corroborate Little's story, and the clerk replied "Who? What the hell are you talking about?"

Many Wakefield sightings have been reported since the beloved writer's departure, generally involving men dressed all in green, riding lovely horses, or having license plates reading "FTTYKNG." No sighting has yet been confirmed.
