Letters to the Editor: Ed Fear and Mr. Mises
Mr. Bregoli,
Just wanted to take a moment to write you and let you know how much I thoroughly enjoy the web site. Magic is filled with persons who treat the game as some greatly serious pursuit, I feel the satiric irreverence of your site is long overdue. I am constantly amused at magic strategy writers, the majority of which can apparently neither write nor play magic. What is most amusing is that people actually log on daily to peruse statements that are always either completely incorrect or patently obvious.
Should the time avail itself between my sexual deviance and frequent eating of babies, I will endeavor to contribute some composition to the site, but in the meantime, know that your work is greatly appreciated.
Yours,
Edward Fear
Thanks for the support, Ed. =)

The player on the right is Jacques Mieses (administering tings to Akiba Rubinstein).
Born Jakob Mieses in 1865, he was the first British player to receive the Grandmaster title. When he was his 84, Jacques played a game against the Dutch master, Van Forrest, who was two years older than he. After he had won, Mieses rose from the board and said, "Youth has been victorious." His
name is pronounced in the German way "meezes". He was once asked: "Are you Mister Mises?" and he replied: "No, I am Meister Meezes."
Andrew Buchanan.
Isn't Mister Mises is the man who is 3 for 3 in Pro Tour victories this season?
