Top Draft Pick Kamahl Demands $2 Million Signing Bonus
SAGINAW, MI - Kamahl, Pit Fighter, the first pick in a Friday night Rochester draft at a Saginaw card store, has stated that he will not play for drafter Ben Clarke unless Clarke pays a $2 million signing bonus up front.
"Two million dollars? Who does he think he is, Masticore?" said Clarke. "That kid's got some ego. If Kamahl doesn't accept what I'm willing to pay, he's gonna be traded. He'll end up in an 11-year-old's Type II Barbarian deck. Then we'll see if he still thinks he's hot stuff."
Although scouting reports have praised the Barbarian Legend as "a beatstick" for his speed, power, and intense fighting spirit, they also call him "lazy, spoiled, and in need of an attitude adjustment." In addition to sitting at the bottom of the deck when he's needed in play, and releasing his own rap album, Kamahl has left games after suffering minor injuries like Afflict and Engulfing Flames.
Speaking from poolside at his Laguna Beach mansion, Kamahl defended his $2 million request, promising to carry Clarke's deck all the way if he is signed.
"Kamahl's worth every penny of that two million," boasted the 6/1 pit fighter, who was wearing six pounds of gold chains and sporting a brand-new battleaxe. "Kamahl's got the fiercest moves and everyone knows it. Those 3/3 creatures can talk the talk, but I just laugh at them and bash their face in. It ain't braggin' if you can back it up."
