Your Move Games Issues Errata

By: sedjtroll - January 01, 2002

Las Vegas, Nevada — Your Move Games, an undisputed powerhouse on the PT circuit, flexed their political muscle at the recent Grand Prix Las Vegas. The team from Boston not only put a player in the top 8 of the tournament, but demonstrated it's considerable influence by issuing errata on the spot.

In round 6 of the first day of competition, YMG'er and PT regular David Humpherys was in position to lose the match. Having only 4 cards left in his library, he cast Intuition- presumably in hopes of finding 2 copies of Gaea's Blessing and replenishing his library. Upon casting the spell however, Humpherys found only 1 Blessing left in his library. Many lesser players would have become disheartened at this, and seeing no possible way to win the game they might have scooped up their cards. But in a brilliant display of mising, "The Hump" called over a judge and issued errata to Intuition. The new wording of Intuition is as follows:

Search your library for up to three cards and reveal them. An opponent chooses one. Put that card into your hand and the rest into your graveyard. If you prefer, put the chosen card into the graveyard instead of into your hand. Then shuffle your library.

Needless to say, with this new wording Humpherys pulled out a draw rather than losing the match.

"Dave Humpherys is so cool!" Exclaimed bystander Michael Mindes, who approached the miser after the match for an autograph on his own copy of Intuition.
