Sideboard Online Closes For Gary Wise's Protection
Since the removal of Chris Benafel Burger's Magic Invitational report from Sideboard's web site last Monday, there have been no updates to the popular online Magic magazine. With plenty of articles by talented writers (including Mike "Infinitely Savage Miser" Flores and the Reverend Toby Wachter) in Sideboard's backlog, many regular readers were left to wonder why Sideboard Online is suddenly silent.
Several e-mails regarding the disturbing situation sent to Sideboard staff went unread, and even more resulted in restraining orders. However, a representative from Pokemon technical support seemed overjoyed to finally receive an e-mail and quickly sent an informative reply.
Concerned Reader,
Due to the underhanded actions of a certain Magic player and the inability of the Sideboard editors to decipher an extremely simple code, the staff of Sideboard Online has made the difficult decision not to post any more articles in the fear that they might contain discreet insults toward any one of Sideboard's treasured writers, especially Gary Wise. We apologize for any inconvenience this may bring and hope that you continue to enjoy the wide variety of gaming products we produce at Wizards of the Coast.

Wise, author of the wildly popular Sideboard column Wise Words and object of his fan's adulation, was the target of a vicious covert attack by Benafel Hamburglar. In his recently erased Magic Invitational report, the Hamburglar encoded numerous insults toward Wise, his actions, his mother, and his writing, even going so far as to imply that he enjoyed the All-American taste of juicy ballpark weiners (as if that were a bad thing).
Now that Wise's words of wisdom will no longer be seen on the Sideboard, it seems that the terrorists have already won.
