Irony Bites Garfield on the Ass, Players Point & Laugh

By: BobtheJunkie - January 15, 2002

Richard Garfield and Jon Finkel finally had their clash of titans at the PT-San Diego. Round one was a hard-fought game, which was finally won by sneaky plays on Finkel's behalf.

The second round, however, was pure gravy to onlookers. After playing only two lands, Richard garfield stalled out, and suffered a severe manascrew. Players that were watching laughed and pointed as Mr. Garfield finally got run over by the karma train.

"Finally, a little poetic justice!!!" Cried one player between tears of happyness. Other players were heard uttering short quips like "serves him right," and, "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!"

After the match, Mr. Garfield had only this to comment, "I would tell them something, but since I spend so much time counting what used to be their money, I just can't spare the five seconds it would take to yell 'eat me'."
