People's Champion Organizes Tournaments for the People

By: Anonymous - January 29, 2002

Rumours state that the so called "People's Champion", Sol Malka, lately has a found a new creative way of ensuring and maintaining his high composite rating, as of today placing him 5th in the world standings.

Your trustworthy and deep digging Misetings reporter found the solution to this mystery at The Butts County Senior Center (GA), where the Peoples Champion lately has arranged the so called "ButtCon I, II, III and IV." We managed to arrange an interview with Mrs. Bloomberg, manager of this reclusive and quiet home for the elderly.

"Oooh, he's such a nice boy that one! He shows up about twice a month, gathers all of the grave dementia elders we have here, and do something he calls a 'Rochester draft'. I don't know exactly what that means, but since it awakens memories of my late husband who came from Rochester, Michigan, I go into bliss and forget asking him about it. Anyway, he sits there, passes around some funny looking cards and then spend some time doing one-way chats with every one of them before he asks them to sign something he calls a 'result slip'. Isn't it nice of him to take his time speaking to all of them? I even saw him wipe the drool of Mr. Poohley´s chin the other day when he was giving him some 'Tournament Organizer lessons.' Isn't it cute?".

Well folks, that seems to explain something we all have wondered about, and leave you with Mrs. Bloombergs final words ringing in our ears; "We all look sooo much forward to ButtCon V. I don't know why he insists calling his visits those things, but we'll humor him as long as he's coming to visit us."
