DCI Banned from Theron Martin's Cellar

By: Anonymous - January 29, 2002

Long time Internet writer and DCI banning victim Theron Martin has declared that the DCI has been banned from his basement playing area for repeated offenses. Listed as the Magic governing body's offenses included the banning of Dark Ritual when Necro was the problem, persistant ignorance of non-Standard formats, and non-disclosure in cheating cases.

Due to the banning, Theron stated, games of Magic playing in Martin's basement will be now be sanctioned as "Type Theron," which has no banned or restricted cards, no rules regarding shuffling, sideboarding, or misrepresesntation, and no stack. "Type Theron" ratings are kept on the honor system, and banned players are welcome to come and play with Theron in this exciting new format.

To kickoff this exciting new format, Theron then invited Dave Williams, Casey McCarrel, and Ryan Fuller to play. In a Two Headed Giant game, Williams and McCarrell rolled a manascrewed Theron while Fuller raided the Martin family fridge. Theron later told his mother that he won every game.
