MiseTings in the Land of .ru

Casually running a google search for "misetings" the other day, I discovered that the number one result is not this site, that we have grown to love and cherish, but rather a Russian MiseTings site that is some sort of mutant offspring of this one.

Being an ignorant American, I do not understand a single word of the site, but comrade Alex Shvartsman was kind enough to clue me in.

"They basically stole the idea and the outlay but they write their own stuff, most of it is about local players. Some is pretty funny but I don't get most of the jokes as I don't know the people they refer to."

Perhaps I should be displeased in the fact that they totally copied my site's (old) layout, color scheme, and logo. I mean, that logo was painstakingly created in a 30 second patented process that I like to call, "Pick a font, pick a color, and type."

In actuality, I think it is great that the .ru has a MiseTings to call it's own. After all, silly things like "intellectual property" aside, MiseTings is really all about bringing joy (and LOLs) to as many gamers as possible. . .
