Overwhelming Italian Attendance at Grand Prix Heidelberg

About 800 italian players attended GP Heidelberg, Germany. Consutling the Final Standings list, one can find a number of notable Italian pros like Dan Clegg [ITA], Brian Kibler [ITA] , Alex Shvartsman [ITA], Zvi Mowshowitz [ITA] and over 700 others.

It seems that WotC does a nice job promoting Magic in Italy. Our sources in WotC Europe commented that they promised a free pizza to every attending player from Italy.

Tempted by their lust for free food, half of the Americans couldn't resist and changed their citizenship to Italian. What a shame, it didn't help them much because they all missed the second day.

Our respect to Steve OMS, Benafel, MikeyP, and Brock Parker for remaining loyal US citizens.
