Sequence of Odyssey Rares Screws Yet Another Player

By: Anonymous - February 15, 2002

Another casual magic player was screwed by the sequencing of rares in Odyseey booster packs today. Steven Grubwitz, who regularly buys Magic cards but has not played in a DCI-sanctioned tournament since losing to a ten-year-old in 1997, reported picking up another string of pathetic rares.

"After reading that article on Brainburst by Anonymous I felt sure that I knew the right sequence," Steven said. "I bought three packs, and tried to set myself up to get a Call of the Herd, a Mystic Enforcer, and a Shadowmage Infiltrator. Instead, I wound up with this crap," displaying his brand-new AtogAtog, Aven Shrine, and Bloodcurdler.

"Man this blows," he added. "Next time maybe I'll just buy some Torment packs- I bet I could pick up a Chainer, easy."
