'Good Man' Writer Potentially Biased
With the second week of "Kartin'" Ken Krouner's 'Good Man Of The Week' series here on MiseTings, it seems that Ken might be using a bit of favoritism in his selection process.
While there was no doubt in anyone's mind that Pat Chapin was well deserving of the spotlight of Ken's 'GMOTW' series, Peter 'PTR' Szigeti has to start making you wonder. Best described as a person of no reedeming qualities, PTR is a 'good man' for his aspects as Magic's latest Bad Guy, cracking wise at Pro Tours he doesn't do well at and trashing hotel rooms all while smelling like he just shat his pants, and with a rap beat in the background. To some, this is not the level of qualification needed to earn the title of Good Man, especially since PTR is in danger of not having enough Professional points to avoid repercussions for his future actions.
When questioned as to whether this was truly a 'Good Man' Of The Week or 'Friend of Ken Krouner' Of The Week series, Kartin' Ken declined to comment, though he did note that at least in the case of Pat Chapin he might have been influenced by the desire to get 'some'. Pat Chapin certainly earned the 'GMOTW' title, but it seems that Peter Szigeti is at best just another 'FOKK'er.
