Magic Players Tired Of Judgment
A poll indicates that Magic players the world over are tired of the Magic: The Gathering Judgment expansion and are turning their eyes toward Onslaught.
In the poll, a survey of Magic players conducted in 17 metropolitan areas in six nations, 74.3 percent of respondents indicated that the upcoming Judgment expansion had grown tiresome.
"I knew this would happen, I knew this would happen, I knew this would happen," said Mark Rosewater of Wizards of the Coast, cradling his head in his hands and weeping softly.
"I told those bastards, they've screwed up everything, they've ruined the release, and -- oh, God," he said, upon seeing the poll results.
"This is the ultimate nightmare of Wizards of the Coast. It had to be now, too, when they're watching cash flow like hawks, didn't it?"
Rosewater then took several drinks from a flask in his desk.
Players around the world know the complete contents of the Judgment expansion prior to its release, due to the temporary inclusion of the cards in the Magic Online game.
"Well, with the aid of a computer program, we've already been drafting Odyssey/Torment/Judgment even though we don't have the cards, physically," said veteran player Kai Budde. "We feel that we've already got the format down pretty solid. I would say I've gotten in about as much practice as I need."
"I'm kind of looking forward to Onslaught, really," Budde said, referring to the expansion that will debut in October.
