Good Man of the Week: EDT

By: KK - May 20, 2002

“Danger Taylor?”

“Eric Taylor.”

“It says here, ‘Danger.’”

“No baby, Danger’s my middle name.”

Eric Taylor has seen a lot in his day. From the invention of the wheel, to the Last Supper, to the signing of the Declaration of Independence, to finally winning a Grand Prix. Magic’s own caveman has done it all.

Despite changes in style, Eric continues to sport the long hair and beard look of his Neanderthal relatives. He has managed to stay on top of the fashion world by donning shiny shirts and eating his out dated hat.

Taylor has learned much in his day. Not only is he a top notch spell caster, but he can program a mean computer, and whip up a glorious beans and cilantro. Eric is loved by gamers the world over, and respected by far less. Why even Mike Turian said that Nate Heiss was a better player, a curse I would not wish on my worst enemy.

Eric has no TV in his home. He has a projection screen. However he has little use for this exciting device as his apartment is more of a decrepit library. There is, however, ample gaming space. With a copy of Chapin’s ever evolving set in his living room, there is always time for new and exciting gaming.

While Eric’s great victory was sure sweet, it could only have been made sweeter by accomplishing something he is rarely able to do in his own living room, beating Pat Chapin. Pat and Eric have spent endless hours practicing wizardry in Taylor’s abode, and I would wager the record is somewhere in the neighborhood of 20938402-4, Chapin.

For your victory last weekend, and at the battle of Waterloo, Eric “Danger” Taylor, I hereby name you Good Man of the Week.
