Extended Rotation: What Do You Think?

By: djogs - May 20, 2002

Wizards of the Coast has announced that with the legality of Onslaught, the Ice Age Block, Mirage Block and 5th Edition will no longer be legal in Extended. What do you think?

Jarrod Bright, Deck Designer Extraordinaire:

"Is Llanowar Dead still legal? THEN RAVE ON MY BROTHER!"

Sean Mckeown, Renowned Internet Writer:

"If we analyse by percentage of card set the cards that have left the Extended format, we find that 100% of Ice Age Block, Mirage Block and 5th Edition will be gone. Except for the ones that have been reprinted. So that tells us alot about the future format; there will be no unreprinted Ice Age, Mirage or 5th edition cards played. But maybe this is all just smoke and mirrors..."

Kyle Murray, Guy Who Announced Rotation:

"The format absolutely had to be changed, to retain freshness and vitality. Of course, you all may have to buy more cards now, but you get that..."

Eric Taylor, General All-Round Nice Guy:

"I'm running out of clothing here"

Brian Davis, Young PT Regular:

"No blocks"

Alexander Witt, Nice Masters Winner:

"Thank the Good Lord, I can sell more cards to pay all the splits I owe people"

Justin West, Australian Champion 2002:
