1.x Rotation: How I will Miss Ball Lightning

By: Zeus - May 21, 2002

When I saw the announcement about the 1.x rotation I was heartbroken. I don't care about the dual lands or even Force of Will, Illusions, Swords to Plowshares or any of that.

I've always played Sligh in extended and the card I'm going to miss the most is Ball Lightning.

I'm really going to miss playing with my balls, it's always fun to turn my balls sideways and swing them at my opponent's dome.

I'm going to miss the looks of anguish on my opponent's face when I tap RRR and windmill slam one of my balls onto the table.

One drawback of my love for my balls is that my opponent can always tell when I'm holding them. I get this really satisfied grin on my face when I have one of my balls in my hand.

Sometimes I can't find my balls, even though I have 4. It makes me sad when this happens but the times when I do get my balls out more than make up for it.

Sometimes they can resisit my balls through sheer force of will but they also have cards specifically made to hose my balls.

Sometimes they play Chill and you all know what a good chill can do to your balls.......... yep..blue balls.

Some white guys like to smash my balls with their weenies, Paldin en-Vec is particulary hard on my balls.

I know the DCI says it's for the good of the game, but did they have to cut off my balls?
