Brainburst Fan Goes Premium For "If We Worked for Wizards"

By: Anonymous - June 26, 2002

Jake Peterson of Rockville, Maryland was instantly convinced to pay $29.99 for a year-long membership to Brainburst.com in order to read the "fascinating" series of Premium articles "If we worked for Wizards".

Peterson explains, "I was surfin' the magic websites and had just finished browsing Star City Games' new Multplayer Tech center when I decided to see if Ask Wizards had chosen my question, unfortunately they were discussing some retard's question about Molten Influence. The wording became too technical for me, so I chose my next magic bookmark, Brainburst."

He continues, "Thats when I saw the best column ever written about Magic. The thing is, magic players rarely, if ever, give their opinions on which cards should and should not be printed. I was especially egged on by the teaser, which promised they would reveal 119 cards from their spoiler! I swapped my mom's credit card and thought to myself 'I'm gonna pay money to read what two total unknowns have to say about Eighth Edition.'"

Peterson has much confidence in the foreshadowing of the article, explaining that "Their arguments are so solid, I'm sure the boys at WOTC are hanging on their every word and preparing Eighth Edition according to their mandates. The sheer genius of the writers is amazing, some pros feel they have to win one of the worlds most exclusive tournaments just to get one card printed, and here they are dictating and entire set from their living room!"

Finally, Peterson justified the expenditure, "The 30 dollars pays for itself because I'm getting such a jump on trading."
