Matt Rubin Extremely Upset at Irrelevant Mistake
This is not a joke.
Matt Rubin is quite upset that yesterday's GMOTW article mentioned a possible mistake he made in a team PTQ one time.
He writes:

Hello Mike, this is Matt Rubin. I spoke with Ken Krouner about his gmotw article, showing my play mistake in the finals of a ptq. Not only was this
unnecessary, but Ken also related to me that it was just final filler for his article. I asked him politely to take it down, but he said he would not. I have already been approached by random people because of this article, and would like my part in it removed. As we all know making a mistake in the finals, especially on no sleep for 30+ hrs is annoying enough, let alone having the world read it after the fact.

Not five minutes after receiving this email, the following conversation took place over AOL instant messenger (I replaced Matt's screen name with his real name, so people don't spam his account):

To Matt:
While MiseTings is relatively stringent in what gets published (RELATIVELY!), once an article has made the cut, it is only edited if a serious issue comes up, or correction needs to be made. Making a mistake, especially in the finals of a tournament, can be embarrassing, I know. I am sorry that it bothers you so much, but hey everyone makes mistakes, even Kai Budde made one, once.
To everyone else:
I apologize to anyone who read this expecting some sort of humorous article. BTW, if MiseTings is no longer here tomorrow, it may or may not be because "more people than you can possibly imagine" have given us the +b.
