Player banned by DCI After Writing Tournament Report

Anthony Zueck (pictured right) has received a six-month ban from the DCI due to the content he had in his tourney report at Londes.com earlier this month. The report was turned into DCI officials by KrmtDFrog (a.k.a. DCI Level 2 judge Cory Braiterman) shortly after the article was posted on July 2.

The incident took part during the 2002 JSS Championships in Orlando, FL. Zueck, who is from Southern California, was playing against Carson White when he admitted in his tourney report that he forgot to de-sideboard at the beginning of the match and did not tell White about it. The suspected card was Jungle Barrier, which was sided in a previous match against Opposition.

When KrmtDFrog was contacted about this news, he only had this to say, "ROFLMAO"!

This news will serve an lesson to all players that intend on writing tourney reports to various Internet site to watch what they write. The reality is that the DCI may be reading your posts and possibliy acting accordingly.
