Greece Goes Batshit

By: BobtheJunkie - September 06, 2002

It's official, Greece has gone completely batshit.

GREEK LAW NUMBER 3037, enacted at the end of July, explicitly forbids electronic games with ‘electronic mechanisms and software’ from public and private places, and people have already been fined tens of thousands of dollars for playing or owning games.” - Matt Loney, MSNBC.com

Unbelievable as it is, and even though MTG: Online is included in the illicit materials list, this decision is supported by pro’s everywhere.

Jon Finkel: “Damn, man! I sure as hell wish this could have happened about three months ago in South America!”

Kai Budde: “Verdammen Sie, Mann! Ich sicher, während Hölle wünscht, daß dies vor ungefähr drei Monaten in Südlichem Amerika hätte geschehen können!”

Both Ruels: “Le condamner, l'homme! Je sûr comme l'enfer souhaite que ceci aurait pu arriver d'il y a trois mois dans l'Amérique du sud!”

Greek Gamers had several commments, but when they came forward with them, they were turned in to greek authorities for hefty rewards.
