MiseTingers Too Stupid To Appreciate 'Magic Players Unable To Evaluate X'
Despite a courageous attempt by Zvi to bring the mysteries of 'X' down to the common man in his recent article, 'Magic Players Unable To Evaluate X', it has been lambasted as 'filth' by the MiseTings forum denizens.
Zvi's article brilliantly summed up the various dimensions of the mystifying 'X'. It was a treatise on a variable, a concrete analysis of an inconstant term. He elicits professional opinions from Magic luminaries such as Ken Krouner, writer of the Good Man of the Week articles here on MiseTings, and Ed Fear, for whom X can also be applied to the number of cards in a sideboard.
In a brilliant literary flourish, Zvi even includes the term 'mised' at the end of the article, in a final attempt to relate the complicated humor contained therein to the common man.
MiseTingers missed it completely.
Blastocrazy, a MiseTings forums regular, wrote "maybe it's just me... but this article was pure unfettered filth." blood4blood84 came up with the following gem:
"Things to do:
1) Print this article out.
2) Crumple it up and throw it at a hobo."
MiseTings' forum denizens obviously do not have the brainpower to contemplate the understated humor and brilliance of Zvi's masterwork. Zvi had this to say:
“There is no way we can educate the MiseTingers about 'X'. It’s hopeless. They are friggin’ morons.”
So true, Zvi, so true.
Zvi intends to follow up his masterpiece with another work entitled 'X And The Casual Gamer'. He predicts that it will be well-received by everyone except the MiseTings forums regulars, whom he predicts "will be overcome by the distinct scent of a concept they cannot comprehend."
