Yu-Gi-Oh! Trumps Scourge With New "All-Dragon" Set

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- In an answer to Wizard's recent unveiling of Scourge as "the dragon set," Konami, maker of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game, unveiled plans for "Legend of Gold Dragon," an all-dragon set Friday.

A spokesman for Konami of America opened the press conference as follows, "For over one year now, Yu-Gi-Oh! has been the industry leader in ripping off little kids of their allowance money. Recently, our competitors in the United States have tried to encroach upon our territory. Their bravado has increased each day, yet we did nothing. But with the release of Scourge, a set dominated by dragons, we say 'Enough!' No game but Yu-Gi-Oh! shall control the overpriced, unplayable fat creature market."

The announced set will contain 100% Dragon cards, which already has Yu-Gi-Oh! fans touting the game's superiority to Magic, the industry standard. "Why's Yu-Gi-Oh! better than Magic? Because I'm getting ALL dragons in my packs, not just some!" said local 13-year-old Eric Canyock.

"Hey Mom, can you buy me some more, please?" added Canyock, pointing towards a booster display box.

Konami also would like to remind the public that Yu-Gi-Oh's biggest monster has at least 20 times the power and toughenss of Magic's closest equivalent, proving the clear numerical superiority of the Japanese juggernaut.
