Skullclamp (1/20/2004 - 6/1/2004)
The loss of Skullclamp (January 20, 2004-June 1, 2004) was mourned by Standard Go-Bidding, Ravager and Elves players everywhere on June 20th, 2004. As they give it its final burial, many are relieved that it has gone to a better place: Extended.

In its life, Skullclamp was a card about town, and you could see it just about everywhere you looked, helping players draw cards off of Arcbound Workers, elves, and goblins of every kind. It was loved by many, and yet hated by many who could never employ its services.

Skullclamp believed in power, and was admired by those willing to sacrifice a little safety in exchange for that power, and those that wanted to learn new lessons from the loss of their allies.

The life that Skullclamp and so many of its friends enjoyed so much was put to an end on June 1st when a group known as the DCI thought it to be too good, too powerful, and having too much influence on the the area around it, so they killed it in cold blood just as it was at its prime, so they could regain control of the environment that Skullclamp so charismatically dominated.

Many mourners have tied their hair into a ponytail and dyed it silver, in its memory.
