Selecting Your Kamigawa Sealed Deck

By: billking - September 15, 2004

Welcome to Selecting Your Kamigawa Sealed Deck, where you get to choose whether you have the goods to make it to the top tables and contend with the other savage misers, or whether you're going to scrub out after losing to baby-faced thirteen-year-olds who were given a combination of bombs you'd kill for.

To kick off the voting this week, we present two cards that have been previewed with much anticipation on magicthegathering.com. Both weighing in at a hefty six mana, they're sure to either dramatically impact your opponent's strategy, or have no effect upon it whatsoever. Yosei, the Morning Star is a ridiculously large flier that puts your opponent in a "damned-if-you-do, damned-if-you-don't" position. The resume of Tide of War includes play in the multiplayer decks of Anthony Alongi, the online Magic community's most prominent casual-Magic scrub. Which will you choose to put into your Sealed deck?

Yosei, the Morning Star Tide of War

To vote, you'll need to register first.
You'll also need to shell out $30 for overpriced packs.

Once you've registered, sit down and wait!
It should take the incompetent judges about three hours to sort this all out.

Thanks for making your voice heard. But it doesn't really matter. We even made sure you were paired against the kid with Kumano and the red Dragon. Tune in next Saturday -- and every Kamigawa Sealed event that Organized Play can convince you to attend -- to take even more savage beatings from lucksacks with a fraction of your skill.
