By: sidar - March 08, 2005

Copenhagen, Denmark -- Infamous Trey Van Cleave was sentenced to an additional ban one day after his two year DCI suspension for cheating in a draft during Grand Prix: Boston.

In a brief report compiled by the DCI, Van Cleave was escorted from Arena - Copenhagen of Denmark after breaching many rules during a regular draft match. Although members of the DCI were not able to comment on the exact reason for the banning, many witnesses were present while Van Cleave was removed from the building.

Onlooker Johan Van Putz claimed that Trey Van Cleave never shifted his eyes away from his cards during the draft.

"However, unbeknownst to all the surrounding observers, a complex system was running," claimed Christian Van Boy. "Behind one of Trey's opponents was a woman with a video camera. The image of the opponent's hand was fed to the televisions that lined the entire room. Unfortunately, every spectator was too focused on Trey as his cards
contained a foil Cranial Extraction."

"When the resident judge noticed the televisions, Trey jumped onto the table and began shouting profanities," stated Van Putz. "He then jumped onto the level 2 judge, pinned him to the ground and dealt some savage beatings. Then, Trey somehow got hold of the judge's papers and began making confetti."

According to the store manager, two off-duty bouncers from a nearby disco intervened and dragged the flailing Cleave into the street.

"He violated me," whimpered the level 2 judge as he was rushed to the hospital. He is currently in stable condition.

Van Cleave was charged by the DCI with Deck Tampering, Deck
Manipulation, Cheating: Marked cards, Drawing extra cards, Severe Unsporting Conduct, Obstructing a DCI investigation, Theft, Bribery and Assault.

Van Cleave's current ban will expire on 03-09-2005.
